Dr Jane Norman Child Study Centre

Named for the founder of Jane Norman College, the Centre is a licensed full-day program accommodating children ages 2 to 5 years.  The setting is inclusive and the curriculum is emergent.  Jane MacKenzie has been the Director of the Program since its inception in 1992. After School Program

Responding to the need for quality after school care the program has operated since 2009 in a partnership with the Chignecto Central Regional School Board. Coordinator  is Janelle McCallum

Family Home Child Care Agency

Fully funded by the Department of Community services this agency (formerly the Colchester East Hants Family Home Child Care Agency) operates to help approved child care providers provide quality care to children in the care provider’s home. In operation since 2007, LeaAnne Joudrie is the Consultant for the Agency. Truro Early Childhood Resource Centre

The Resource Center is located at Jane Norman College at 60 Lorne Street in Truro. Used as a community meeting place, a repository for books and resources , workshop series and the Remida Centre. Russell Resource Library

Named for Dr. Robert Russell of the NS Teachers College and Jane Norman College the library is home to over 13,000 titles encompassing child and youth issues. It is a lending library open to the students of Jane Norman College and the public. Access to the internet, word processing and printing, and photocopying are available on a daily basis throughout the school year. Over 20 child and youth related periodicals and 200 DVDs/videos are also available. Denise MacKinnon is the Library Coordinator.
